Questions
Questions we are often asked
What does Recondora reconcile?
Card, ATM, instant payment, interbank, settlement, GL, suspense and nostro reconciliations for banks and microfinance banks today, with insurance, lending, payment institution and corporate reconciliations added through domain packs. The platform pages show what is available now and what each release adds.
Which countries are supported?
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh are the first country packs (R1, Q1 2027); 28 countries across the GCC, South Asia (except India), North Africa and Central Africa follow in waves to Q1 2029. A signed customer can bring a pack forward.
Is it in production?
The core reconciliation, approvals, users and audit work today in the demo environment, with Raast and ATM reconciliations verified on bank files. The first production release (R1) is planned for Q1 2027. We will tell you exactly which capabilities are live for your rails at the walkthrough.
Where is our data kept?
Where you choose: SaaS in an agreed region, your own cloud account, a private cloud or your data centre. Each tenant's data is kept apart, and residency is set per tenant.
Does Recondora store card numbers?
No. Card numbers are masked on ingestion and full card numbers are never stored, which keeps your card data scope small.
Is Recondora certified?
Not yet, and we do not claim it. Controls are mapped to PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF 2.0 and the regulators' frameworks. ISO/IEC 27001 certification of the SaaS service and a SOC 2 Type II report are targeted for R3 (Q1 2028), with an independent penetration test before every major release.
Can we change rules without a release?
Yes. Participant codes, GL mappings, tolerances, hold windows, approval levels and other company settings live in the company layer and are checked against what the packs allow. A company-layer editor with maker-checker and history comes in R2.
How is it priced?
By volume tier and modules for SaaS, or one yearly fee for a group, plus a one-off implementation fee. Prices are set per country to match local value. Ask for a quote with your monthly volumes and rails.
How long does implementation take?
About 16 weeks to the first production release when your country and domain packs exist (12 weeks for a corporate), starting with a pilot on two rails and a parallel run.
Who is behind Recondora?
SMH Global Services, an IT solutions company founded in 2013 with its head office in Dubai, corporate office and development centre in Karachi and a regional office in Riyadh. SMH also builds AuditHD and Amanova.
